Millions of women around the world have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility which has driven the pharmaceutical and medical industries to focus on biologically manipulating the body to create life. Despite the advancements in Assisted Reproductive Technology, numerous studies show that a woman who participates in a mind-body program has a better chance of conceiving and going full term than if she uses the most advanced ART techniques. Our thoughts, beliefs, fears, emotions and old issues create stress reactions in our bodies, and that stress is powerful enough to block fertility. So, what is the best way to mitigate that stress, open a pathway to conception and bring the body into mental, physical and emotional balance? James Schwartz, BCH, author of The Mind/Body Fertility Connection, answers these questions and discusses the innovative approach he uses to promote fertility.

Bio:
James Schwartz, BCH, is a Board Certified Hypnotherapist and an NLP practitioner. He is certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists and a member of the Colorado Association of Psychotherapists. James is the founder and director of the Rocky Mountain Hypnotherapy Center in Lakewood, Colorado, and is certified in Complementary Medical Hypnosis, NeuroLinguistic Programming and HypnoBirthing®. Through his extensive hypnotherapy work with infertility clients, James created and developed a highly successful fertility program called Hypnosis to Promote Fertility which focuses on healing the mental and emotional barriers that can often prevent conception. This work became the basis for The Mind/Body Fertility Connection.

James has published several articles about using the mind/body connection to promote fertility; facilitated educational seminars for women who struggle with infertility; and was invited to present information about his Hypnosis to Promote Fertility program to the National Guild of Hypnotists at their 2006 convention.
